On this project, we really wanted to open up the space for the homeowners. They love to entertain and wanted a larger kitchen with a gorgeous island for prepping meals. To provide the homeowners with a larger space we took the old dining room area and converted it into additional kitchen space. A new wood finished luxury vinyl tile flooring was laid throughout the kitchen and eat-in space. This flooring is extremely durable and will stand up well to the high-traffic space.
There are some amazing showpieces in this kitchen, the first being this space-saving drawer microwave. We chose to use a drawer version to make it easy to load and unload the microwave.
The other show-stopping piece is the handmade subway tile backsplash. This tile choice gave the kitchen additional depth and helped warm the space up giving it a richer feel.
